Classical Silicon Valley Industrial Park – II
Here are some more images from a nearby “Classic” Silicon Valley Industrial Park. I wanted to see if there was visual evidence of the change of season. The trees have a little color change. It isn’t visible in the picture, but I had hoped a jet contrail would be visible in the lower picture. I am not certain, but I think their visibility has something to do with the temperature of the upper atmosphere. Can anyone confirm/correct this notion?

Over the Hill
I was traveling towards San Jose, going north on 17 (between Santa Cruz and San Jose). This photo is very near the summit. Within a few hundred yards of this point, the odometer of my car recycled from 99999.9 to 00000.0 miles; an interesting place for this to happen. This point is about 1,400-1,500 feet above sea level.
Continuing back to San Jose, we see the brown hills surrounding Mission Peak (east of Milpitas, CA) in the distant background. This photo is near Los Gatos from 17 north. As you can see, it is a clear day, but there is a blanket of Smog Over Silicon Valley.

Venus
It is about 6:45-7:00 AM, looking towards the east. Venus is bright. On this photo, if you extent the black lines from the bottom, and the right of the picture. Venus can be found near the intersection. Not really bright in the picture, but present.
Industrial Park Pond
Quiet today. The industrial park has some activity, but mostly rests. I think there are fountains here during the week, in this industrial park near Saratoga, CA.

Long Straight Rails
We are in Campbell, CA looking North East. The hills east of Milpitas and Mission Peak can be seen in the background. This run of track heads towards San Jose. I think the only train on this track is a week day run of bulk materials (coal, rock) to the cement plant on the west side of the valley. It is a slow and heavy train.
